hm... I'm still very much a n00b also.
But I read these tips somewhere, and they helped me a lot.

- Use the scraps section, and only keep your very best work in the gallery.

- You can use the thumbshare section in the forum to get really good critiques. (Even with literature and stuff )

- Leave solid critique for others. The more time that you put into them, the more likely you are to stand out to them and be remembered.
